FAQs about Custom Flexible Packaging
Looking for quick details on custom flexible packaging? Start with these answers, then reach out and we’ll tailor specifics to your product.
What is flexible packaging?
Any non-rigid pack—pouches, rollstock, sachets—made from polymer or paper laminates that form, fill and seal on automated lines. It weighs less than rigid plastic or glass yet protects products equally well.
Which eco-friendly materials do you offer?
Two lines: recyclable mono-films (#4 LDPE—PE + MDOPE / PE + EVOH, #5 PP—BOPP + VMOPP + CPP) and compostables (industrial-grade PLA/PBAT or kraft-PLA, plus home-compostable kraft/PBAT). All options accept zippers or valves and comply with FDA/EU food-contact rules.
What is the minimum order for custom pouches?
We start at 1,000 pcs per SKU for stand-up, flat-bottom and side-gusset bags—one of the lowest MOQs in the industry.
How fast can I receive my order?
After artwork approval, digital jobs ship in 15 days; gravure runs need 20–25 days. Transit to North America averages one week by air or four weeks by sea.
Are your pouches curbside recyclable?
Recyclable mono-films—#4 LDPE (PE-based) and #5 PP (BOPP/CPP)—should be taken to store drop-off or soft-plastic collection points, as most curbside programs still exclude flexible film. Our home-compostable kraft / PBAT pouches will degrade in backyard compost in ≤ 180 days, whereas higher-barrier PLA/PBAT laminates need industrial composting.
Can I print multiple SKUs in one run?
Yes. HP Indigo 200K digital printing lets you gang unlimited designs without plate fees, ideal for flavour rotations or seasonal SKUs.
What info do you need to quote?
Simply tell us bag style, size, material preference, barrier needs, and artwork files (PDF/AI). We’ll email a 24 h quote plus dieline & material suggestion.
What certifications back your quality?
Plant: BRCGS Packaging Materials & ISO 9001. Materials: TÜV OK Compost, SGS food-grade tests—all available on request.
Do I need to pay for samples?
No. Material swatches and printed prototypes from recent orders are free so you can feel the film, test barrier, and inspect print quality. —you only cover the courier cost. Colour-accurate, custom press proofs carry a small fee that is refunded in part or full once your production order meets the qualifying volume.
